INFORMIA WAS FOUNDED IN 2008 AND HAS FROM THE BEGINNING DELIVERED CONSULTING SERVICES TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

INFORMIA - was founded in 2008 as a spring of company to MicroConsult, founded in 1997.

During the first years the main focus was on application development and Microsoft Office and Backoffice solution selling and related services.

Different branche specific software solutions were developed. Amongst these were compilers for Land Surveyor data, CAD/CAM and LISP applications for Architects and Engineers. The company worked closely together with educational institutions (e.g. Arkitektskolen i Aarhus), and large IT companies like Datacentralen (later CSC), Gammasoft and many more.

From 2000 to 2006 the company specialised more and more in project management and business development for production companies and slowly transitioned to being a service provider for customers of different branches.

After 2006 focus turned - this time to Railway and Transportation - and the company has, since 2008 in its own brand and name, primarily focused on this sector.

RAILWAY & TRANSPORTATION HAS BEEN OUR MAIN FOCUS SINCE 2006

In 2006 employees started working for DB (Germany) when DB wanted to provide on board infotainment and free internet services to their customers on board the trains. Later the same year DSB (Denmark) needed to establish internet services in their trains too and in 2009 DSB S-tog (Denmark) established internet services in their S-trains and STV for AD's and Traffic information - also with our involvement.

From 2010 until today INFORMIA has delivered services within Signalling & Train Control to DSB, DSB S-tog and Banedanmark.

Railway and Transportation will continue to have our main focus.
